Here’s what this page is about. Cycling. Photography. Video stuff. A killer mustache. Telling stories (mostly true ones). My life.
I’ve done the blog thing a few times in the past and always ended up moving away from it. Tumblr, wordpress, pinterest, facebook notes, micro-blogging with twitter. All started out with gusto and then faded. Mostly because I felt like I was trying to generate readership and work to create content. Playing the content generation thing like a game and trying to get the score to go up. It got boring. I quit.
Isn’t the point of all of all of this just to write some stories? Hopefully getting better at telling them. Maybe somewhere along the way a few people find it and read some of them. There is no score.
With that out of the way, here’s some dogs riding down the Interstate. Awesome.

Not sure of your twitter handle anymore. Saw this and thought of you: http://www.forbes.com/sites/tanyamohn/2012/05/20/bicyclists-in-the-united-states-save-at-least-4-6-billion-a-year-by-riding-instead-of-driving-ased-on-friday-to-coincide-with-national-bike-to-work-day-part-of-national-bike-month-which-occurs-each/
Just came across your blog post about River Ridge. I grew up there as well in #4 River Ridge. I am guessing that we lived there from the time I was in first grade until I was in 6th grade, so 1986 to 1990. I would love to go back and take a look around…even take my children. I fondly remember taking the swim test from the little deck to the big deck in the man-made pond.
Shantelle,
I remember the swim test very clearly as well. Sounds like we were essentially neighbors.
Thanks for posting a note.
